As part of a process of strategic re-alignment, Mesophotonics is
focusing future business activities on the commercialization of its photonic lattice
technology through its LED Business Unit. As a consequence the Company has recently
divested its Analytical Business Unit (ABU).
The ABU, which manufactures the Klarite® substrates and the SE1000
instrument for use in Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) has been acquired by D3
Technologies Ltd - a subsidiary of Renishaw plc.
As leaders in the SERS field, D3 Technologies now becomes the source
for supply, product development and customer support of Klarite® as well as of SERS,
easy-to-use, instrument platforms.
